The East Midlands Museums, Libraries and Archives Council provided a grant of £5,000 for Ruddington Village Museum to carry out the 'Raising NIMF Awareness Project'. This funding has enabled Nottinghamshire Independent Museums Forum members to undergo training in writing press releases, marketing their museums and developing effective websites, has paid for the design and printing of a new leaflet promoting Nottinghamshire's museums and also covered the cost of creating and hosting this website. NIMF is most grateful for this generous financial support.

Trevor Clayton

Trevor Clayton is a professional photographer and designer based at Flintham. As part of the project brief, Trevor Clayton took fresh photographs of the participating museums and these were used, together with a few photographs supplied by the individual museums, in his design for the new leaflet. Trevor Clayton's photographs are also used extensively to illustrate this website, the design of which pick up key elements of the leaflet's design.

Ruddington IT Association logoRuddington IT Association

Ruddington Information Technology Association is a community group which provides IT advice, training and resources for residents, voluntary organisations and businesses in Ruddington and the surrounding villages. RITA is currently undertaking a project funded by the Greater Nottingham Partnership which will develop twenty new website for local businesses and/or voluntary organisations and re-develop the websites of a further ten businesses.
