Choosing A Museum to Visit
The site lists all the museums in Nottinghamshire, but has chosen to feature museums from the independent sector which are sometimes overlooked. Select a link from the left of the page to find out further details about the museum, its location and opening times. Some information is provided by way of links to the Museum's own website, as this is the best way to ensure that information is accurate and up-to-date. Please be aware that some of the museums make a charge for admission and that not all museums are suitable for visitors with mobility difficulties. If you're unsure about any details, it's best to phone or email before your visit.
When you visit one of the museums, you will be able to pick up a useful leaflet with information about all the museums featured on the website. The leaflet is also available from libraries and Tourist Information Centres in Nottinghamshire.
